Our Process & Materials

While we don’t share every detail of our process, here are the “broad strokes” of how we make our pieces.

Prepare Fruits & Flowers

We fully dehydrate & press our fruits and botanicals. Drawing out the moisture prevents the organic matter from decaying once they are cast in resin. 

Encase in Resin

Once our fruits and botanicals are prepared, we cast them in Jewelry-Grade Epoxy Resin. 

Stainless Steel Findings

The metal components in our jewelry are made from Stainless Steel and 18k PVD Gold Plated Stainless Steel. PVD plating is a long-lasting and fade resistant layer of gold that fuses to the stainless steel base metal 

Embellishments

Certain designs are embellished with real Freshwater Pearl, Gemstones & Abalone. Others with glass beads & Stainless Steel charms

Please Note Even encased in resin, organic materials lose vibrancy over time. Colors typically look their brightest in the first year, but our pieces are still wearable for years to come.
